Rotor-Trencher DONEX are intended for developing the trenches and pits, for cutting narrow deep trenches in the permafrost and other soils and asphalt for the repair or installation of water pipes, gas pipelines, electric cables and communication cables. The top strength in the "heart" of Rotoditchers: "GLEASON" helical bevel crowns and pinions in alloyed casehardened steels for a long life. PTO Gearbox with a ratio-gears right to obtain the best ditcher performance with a lower tractor-engine stress. Sturdy frame in square tubular steel and set of protection plates assembled with steel bolts R 80. Rotors in thick steel welded plate right to resist high vibrations and heavy soil conditions. Blades and addles in special alloyed steels for an high strength. Opening of new ditch: extra-slow tractor speed of 300 to 500 m./h. (0.18 to 0.31 mph). The maximum depth requested is reached in 2 to 3 or more runs depending on the slow-tractor-speed, engine power and soil composition. Cleaning of existing ditch: slow tractor speed of 800 to 1500 m./h. (0.5 to 0.9 mph). In one run with twin rotor and disk rotor, in two runs with single rotor. Throwing of the digged soil: on both sides with twin rotor; on the right-side with disk rotor and single rotor. The ditch-depth is adjusted by the tractor driver by means of the hydraulic power-lifter in "floating position". The single rotor mod. SR.5-L is not operating axially to the tractor, but on the right-side, in line with the tractor´s tire.
